I can’t describe myself, as it’s different every day. I challenged myself to be better than yesterday and make the day count. The same goes for teaching, I see every student as a new challenge as each and every one of them is unique. I believe that to be a good teacher, one must first minimise the barriers to communication with the students. Hence, a two-way communication is needed to achieve that. With this, I will be able to understand the needs of each student and come out with the most suitable teaching method to cater to them. Conrad Hall once said that ‘You are always a student, never a master. You have to keep moving forward’. I couldn’t agree more to this as education is a lifelong process, it does not end after you step out of the classroom.
