As a tutor majoring in KS3 subjects, Mr Chang observed that students often feel uninterested and demotivated to a subject due to the complication and culture shock as a transition from primary from secondary syllabus. The feeling of anxiety and helpless makes students hate a subject and eventually perform badly in the exams.
Therefore, for Mr Chang, teaching is not only to deliver knowledge using easy-to-understand method. He puts unlimited patience encouragement to the students. He strongly believes that to ensure a student master a subject, what must do first is to ignite students’ interest and hence building a “never-say-die” spirit among students when the subject is getting harder.
Mr Chang friendliness makes him your tutor and friend at a same time. In his class, laughter is found anytime while authoritative tutor-student relationship is no where to be seen. His Chang’s efforts in building a close relationship has made the class more effective as students would be more comfortable to ask any doubt during the class without any hesitation. As your encouraging friend, you’ll always get treat as a reward for improvement shown too.
