I’d like to think that every student has a shot at getting good grades, if they allow themselves to be helped and also help themselves a little. Take it from someone who was a failing student at one point, I was lazy and ignorant believing that my education was one of the last few things on my list of priorities. Luckily for me, I had teachers and mentors to discipline me and influence me out of my old self. Now I believe education should be on the top of anyone’s list of priorities, but not the first. There should be balance. Now as a teacher at VBest, I want to be to students what my mentors and teachers were to me, a good influence.
