Education, to Mr Victor, is an absolute necessity — it gives power and strength, considering an Almighty. His academic journey reflects resilience and growth: while his primary and secondary school achievements were moderate, he excelled at the tertiary level. Beyond academics, he actively contributed to university life through RUMA (RMIT University Malaysian Club) as an Activity Officer and Bundoora Representative, as well as student ambassador programs, demonstrating leadership and commitment to community.
As a tutor, Mr Victor is dedicated and passionate, with strong academic knowledge and teaching experience in Additional Mathematics and Science. He is committed to helping students build a solid foundation, understand challenging concepts clearly, and gain confidence in tackling exam questions. With a structured yet supportive teaching style, he sets high expectations while encouraging discipline, focus, and consistency. He genuinely cares about each student’s progress and works hard to guide them towards their academic goals.
His strength lies in coverting complex mathematical concepts into simple, step‑by‑step explanations. Lessons emphasise concept mastery, exam techniques, and effective answering methods, with personalised guidance tailored to each student’s level, learning pace, and areas of weakness. Over the years, he has seen students surpass expectations in many ways, inspiring him to continually refine and energise his teaching style. He believes that time spent in class must always be worthwhile — students should leave each lesson with something fruitful and meaningful. His approach combines genuine care, practical strategies, and inspiring delivery, ensuring students remain on track and motivated.
Mr Victor believes every student has potential, and with the right guidance, discipline, and practice, they can achieve stronger academic performance. His philosophy is captured in his personal quote:
“With high altitude, there will be knowledge; with your aptitude, there will be courage.”
