Her words
My students would know the great potential in learning science, especially biology and chemistry. Biology and chemistry are no longer a subject that only involves memorising, they are understanding of lives. Students are imparted the truth that biology and chemistry are needed to solve many world problems ranging from food shortage to helping people who are suffering from diseases thus contributes to building a better world. Bio-technology for example is built based on biology that would chart a new chapter in human development.
Educating young students is my commitment to life. I strongly believe that all students could be taught to excel and be experts in the future. Motivating students to be positive in all circumstances is thus essential. I like to ensure that all my students have positive mind set, in their studies and in leading their personal lives. I will never give up on the students and I will make sure they do not give up on themselves too. I will guide the students along the path and help them to unlock their potentials. They definitely could contribute to world development in the years to come.
The truth of the universe is yet to be discovered further! As a teacher, it is my duty to pass down the spirit of discovering new things in life and accepting failure in the process. Students are taught that to achieve success in life they have to learn from the failure. In line with the scientific spirit of inquiry and critical thinking, students are encouraged to doubt existing fact that is being taught and be brave to ask “WHY”. The advancement of science is leaping through centuries because the scientists always doubt about something, research on them and break through the problem.
Last but not least, all my students are taught on living skills such as good manners, respect, discipline and cooperation. These soft skills involving character-building would enhance their ability to manage all sorts of human problems in their lives!
