A graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English for Professionals at the University of Sciences, Malaysia. Always carry a responsible attitude towards any task that is undertaken. Willing to accumulate new skills and enhance the presented skills to present a better performance in professional settings. A believer in “All roads lead to Rome”. Learning a language is not necessarily to be a traditional approach that is conducted in a classroom setting. Watching movies, enjoying drama series and even listening to songs and podcasts can also be fascinating alternatives to learning and mastering a language.
Teaching Experience
In 2020 and 2021, I joined a volunteering programme, the English and Cultural Programme, conducted by Toyo University, Japan and the University of Sciences, Malaysia.During the programme, I was assigned randomly to meet a group of Japanese students andgave them an English language tutorial through various engaging activities. Throughout the activities, the Malaysian and Japanese students exchanged cultural knowledge.
In 2022, I joined a volunteering programme, the Malay Language and Culture Program, conducted by Nanzan University, Japan and the University of Sciences, Malaysia. I assisted the Japanese students in completing their research about Malaysia with the other course mates. A fundamental Malay language tutorial was provided to the Japanese students, and cultural knowledge was exchanged between the Malaysian and Japanese students.
Before graduating in 2023, I completed my two-month internship at Premier Montessori Preschool in Jalan Klebang Besar, Melaka. During the internship, I preparedworksheets and materials needed by the students before the craft activities or simple science experiments. Other than that, I guided the students in reading word cards and short story books.
Before 2024, I was interviewed by the centre manager at VBEST Malacca and I started my entry-level professional career at VBEST Malacca from January 2024 until now.
