Ms Claire Hung, awarded with VBEST Multi-Faceted Teacher Award, is an engaging teacher that engages with primary and secondary school students from Year 1 – Year 11, specialising in Mathematics for a wide range of age groups.
As we all know, many students might have a perception of boredom towards Mathematics, but Ms Claire Hung engages with the students in her class, placing a priority on class interaction to make the class come alive. Turning a usually perceived as a boring Maths subject into something fun and competitive for her students to better their results and deepen their understanding.
Being patient, hands-on & practical, Ms Claire Hung starts from the students point of view, to recognize her student’s level of understanding, and then move forward in the direction of comprehension. By making her Maths class interesting and fun, her students would learn Maths more willingly, develop an increased interest in Maths, and improve in their score in the subject at the same time.
